It is hard to believe that we are already into June and summer holidays will soon be here.  It seems like just yesterday we were all meeting for the first time, back on August 31, 2009.  As well as looking back, we begin to look ahead at our plans for September and we appreciate knowing whether families will remain with us or not.  If you are planning a move to a new community or a school within our district, please inform the shcool office.

Our Lost and Found bin has been overflowing with winter jackets, boots, mitts and sweaters.  Please make sure you have a look through our large collection for any of your misplaced items prior to the last day of school.  Items not retrieved wil be bagged up and sent off to a local charity.

The last day students will be in attendance is Tuesday, June 29th.  Students will be here from 9:00-10:00 am to collect their report cards and say good bye to their classmates.  The Mamquam staff will be available to meet with parents on Tuesday afternoon and on Wednesday, June 29 & 30.  Classes commence for the new School year on Tuesday, September 7, 2010.  Students will be dismissed at 10:00 am on that day.  Our Kindergarten teacher will be in contact with our new Kindergarten students and appointments will be arranged for this first week of school.

We, at Mamquam, are very fortunate to have the opportunity to work closely with an incredibly supportive, enthusiastic and hard working group of students and parents.  We wish you all a safe and well-deserved Summer Break.
